Piece of history of Italian Fashion.
In 1943 Fontana sisters, with their atelier, made Italian style famous throughout the world. They were one of ten tailors present at the first Italian fashion show. The last of the 3 sisters is died in 2004.
“Be simple. Always be stylish when you leave the house in the morning. Knowing how to match colors well, and the same dress you can renew only changing a detail, an accessory. For example, shoes are important.”
They made dresses for famous women such as: Liz Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Barbara Stanwyck, Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, Joan Collins, Ursula Andress, Soraya, but their most assiduous customer will be the actress Ava Gardner.
